Story
Found buried deep in a dusty bamboo shop, these special Vintage Bamboo lanterns have been updated with current cords and wiring to fit seamlessly into your modern home. A delicate, contoured shape was created by masterful hands many years ago, by applying heat to the freshly cut green bamboo. What we're left with today is a one of a kind treasure with a story to tell. Two styles available. Very limited inventory.
The exact origin of these lanterns remains a mystery. What we do know is that these pieces have been sourced in the heart of Taiwan's bamboo craft region. As bamboo ages, it becomes more yellow and light in color so we can estimate they were made sometime in the last 50 years. As with all bamboo pieces in the region, these lanterns have been painstakingly crafted by hand. They have been purposefully created by knowing hands and will bring a special history to whatever space they illuminate.
