Story
These one-of-a-kind baskets were painstakingly woven by hand and fitted with bamboo cane handles. Believed to have been crafted within the last 50 years (based on bamboo coloration), these baskets are in remarkable condition and will add history and beauty to your space for many years to come.
As a vintage find, we can't be 100% accurate as to the exact origin of these baskets. What we do know is that they were sourced in the mountains of Taiwan, in a region known for preserving traditional handicrafts. These bamboo baskets stood out to us upon first glance because of their intricate weave pattern and statement handles. These baskets are very unique, even from this bamboo region in Taiwan. That said, our quantities of this product are very limited.
